The site has been undergoing rehabilitation since 1994 thanks to the work of enthusiasts. Now owned by Bretagne Porte de Loire, the Brutz mines represent a major element of the local mining industrial heritage. The community of municipalities invites you to discover the local mining history, the life of the miners and the workers’ housing estates. The Babcock & Wilcox boiler, listed as a Historic Monument, is a remarkable element of the site, of which only two examples remain in France.
