BY BUS
Following an experiment started on September 2, 2019, the C’bus public transport service continues to make adjustments. As of February 24, 2020 until spring, a new formula aims to respond to 80% of the comments made by some 30 residents, users and entrepreneurs. The number of Daily Round Trips (ARQ) has been increased between the districts and the city center compared to the first formula set up on September 2, 2019. The connection times between the lines have been reduced (70% lower or equal to 10 minutes). Links between neighborhoods are improved. Connections with the tram-train are strengthened, in particular for employees of the two largest employers in the city: the company Kuhn Huard and the Pôle Santé de Choisel.
Since Monday February 24, 2020, four lines provide connections between neighborhoods and the city center:
Line A serving the Municipal Sports Center with the Espace Dauphins swimming pool, the Ville-aux-Roses district and the rue des Anciens Combattants (7 Daily Round Trips);
Line B serving the Lenoir-Môquet-Schuman public school center to the northeast, the tertiary center of Vauzelles with ORPAC, the Pôle Emploi agency, the Renac district, the René Guy Cadou school, the rue des 27 otages and the Foyer Restaurant (8 ARQ);
Line C serving the Béré district, the Pôle Santé de Choisel, the AquaChoisel and the Conservatoire (7 ARQ);
Line D serving the Horizon Zone – economic and commercial activities (8 ARQ).
This second stage of experimentation is carried out until spring 2020 with a new phase of listening, observation and taking into account the comments of users to continue improving this public transport. Information on the routes and timetables of the C’bus is provided at the Maison de la Mobilité at the station in Châteaubriant at its usual opening hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 13h.
